Kia Ora Koutou
Kia Ora. Kia Orana. Malo e lelei. Ni Sa Bula. Namaste. Mauri. Talofa Lava
My name is Peta Leitu and I have the privilege of working with our beautiful Years 7&8 whanau in Room 10 since the beginning of Term 3.
To enable a successful teaching & learning space for Ruma 10, my initial focus has been around
- 'Knowing the akonga'
- Setting routines
- Fostering a whanau culture of high expectations by doing the best we can, and
- Practising our school values
There has been plenty of learning both for myself and our wonderful tamariki. I am super proud of their positive work ethics and learning collaborations. Remember to check out our class blogs when you can.
Gratitude has been huge on our list of learnings thus far.
For instance, eating our healthy lunches and remembering how these have been prepaid for.
Eating and remembering the less fortunate.
As we endure the cold months in the third quarter of the year, I hope you too and the whanau have some beautiful summer memories to reflect on.
